David Hutnyk
CEO & Founder
David started K9ine Security in 2019 with his partner K9 Pepper. After 20 plus years of experience in the industry David saw the need for better training and professionalism. The goal was and still is, to create and implement better training, better support for staff and unmatched client service. K9ine Security has multiple one-of-a-kind programs in operation across Ontario. Has implemented one of the best training programs in the country for Security and is proud to provide nonprofit support in his local community of Northumberland County, through education programs and community outreach.
Alex Hutnyk
CAO
Alex has been an integral part K9ine Security since it’s inauguration in 2019. Alex brings more than 15 years experience in office management and scheduling. She is also a licensed Security Guard and works in the field alongside K9ine Security’s team. Alex provides support to staff and has guided K9ine to the success it has become.
Erin Smith
Human Resources Manager
Erin joined K9ine’s team in 2024, bringing 18+ years of experience working in both business and corporate environments. Erin’s role as HR, recruiting and office management is integral to day-to-day operations. With an open door to all team members. She believes in ensuring that everyone is given a voice and that they get the support that they deserve.
Brad Berezowski
Operations Manager
Brad joined K9ine’s team in 2024 as our operations, training and implementation manager. Brad brings over 25 years experience in Policing, security and training. Creating new and exciting training programs that are recognized by various organizations Canada-wide. Brad works side by side with our team not only in training but in the field. Ensuring our team is provided support when needed and utilizing his expertise to keep our community safe.
